Incorporated in 2006, SecuriCheck is a privately-held, boutique information firm focused on assisting financial institutions, employers and landlords to understand the risks before entering into a significant financial, employment or tenant transaction.

We help protect our clients’ interests by utilizing ethical and lawful information-gathering methods while offering the most comprehensive searches available.  Our background checks draw from a variety of open-source and proprietary databases and information to protect our clients’ interests.


Andrew Penn Fitzgerald

Andrew Penn Fitzgerald

Andrew Penn Fitzgerald, founder and Managing Partner of SecuriCheck, has been performing background checks for government agencies and private industry for over ten years. He brings a wealth of experience to the screening industry. Andrew is an honorably retired U.S. Army officer. At a major city’s District Attorney’s office, Andrew performed background investigations of criminal defendants while helping prosecutors prepare for trial. Working at the Atlanta field office of the U.S. Secret Service, Andrew investigated the backgrounds of criminal suspects, those considered threats to Secret Service protectees and others who were going to be in close proximity to protectees. Andrew aided in the protection of the President, Vice President, former presidents and foreign heads of state. He also participated in investigations resulting in the arrest of counterfeiters and confiscation of millions of dollars of counterfeit currency.

Using his strong knowledge of public and private records, Andrew has been conducting background checks for businesses and individuals privately since 2003.  He founded SecuriCheck in 2006 to offer quality background research first to private equity firms and then employers of varying types and landlords using the most reliable government and private sources available.

A native of Nashville, TN, Andrew lives in San Mateo, CA with his wife and two daughters.  He is an avid runner, having completed 11 full marathons, and enjoys reading Southern history and literature.


Alli Zaro Fitzgerald

Chief Financial Officer

Alli newAlli is responsible for brand communications and the day-to-day financial operations of SecuriCheck.  She joins the company with more than fifteen years of financial services experience, including Franklin Templeton Investments in San Mateo, SunTrust Bank in Atlanta and Deloitte and Touche in Chicago.  She earned her B.A. from U.C. Santa Barbara and M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Vanderbilt University.

Alli lives in San Mateo with her husband and two daughters. A former competitive figure skater, she is the past President of the Parca Auxiliary, and enjoys volunteering at her childrens’ school and planning fundraising events.


Dick Fitzgerald

Director of Business Development

RHF Official PhotoDick joined SecuriCheck in 2009 following his retirement from a 38 year career in corporate banking and private wealth management.

He received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Economics and an MBA degree from the University of Southern California.  Dick also is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the ABA’s National Commercial Lending Graduate School.

In addition to his dedication to supporting the SecuriCheck mission, Dick continues to  volunteer his time to Centerstone of America, a not-for-profit organization and the nation’s largest community behavioral healthcare company.  He has been with the organization for over 25 years and currently is its Chairman and serves on its foundation board.  Dick’s other passions include golf and photography.
